Mortimer’s story

Mortimer was founded in 2018 by Chef Robbert van Zinnicq Bergmann. After having worked in some of the world’s best Michelin starred restaurants like Gaggan** (Bangkok) and Vinkeles (Amsterdam) it was time to open a place of his own. Mortimer was created with a simple vision to bring quality to the center of Amsterdam and never compromise on that quality, a lesson learned by the great chefs he worked for.

This is why we are really proud to work with the best organic suppliers in and around Amsterdam. Because the key to success is letting the best ingredients speak for themselves. And with these ingredients we create unique and creative versions of breakfast and lunch classics
